Daniel Daligand was born in Lyon, France in 1942. Today he lives and works in Levallois. After his studies in chemistry, economy and of languages he started to do Mail Art in 1967. He participated in various Mail Art projects with his typical variations of the Mickey Mouse figure. He understands himself as conceptual artist, painter, performer and author. He published poems and tales, essays and pamphlets, even using the pseudonyms Lafcadio Mortimer and Stephane Chaumet.
